This is our approach to maintenance. We are up-front about costs. We perform any necessary remedial work at the beginning of the contract, and we aim to make call-outs unnecessary.
Unfortunately, there is another approach. Some companies quote unrealistically low fees for maintenance contracts, which they then fail to fulfil. When the poorly maintained equipment fails, they make their money by charging high rates for fixing it.
