Thomson provides specialised information to those who rely on it most – including investment tools for financial professionals and clinical decision support for doctors. If its data centres were to stop serving up all this information, then Thomson would no longer have a business.

To ensure that this never happens, we have three engineers onsite at all times. In addition to their regular preventive maintenance tasks, they are never averse to fixing a lightswitch or wiring in a new datapoint. In fact, the longer we’ve known Thomson, the more they’ve asked us to do. Like many of our clients, they have found that we can solve a whole range of problems for them, from refurbishing offices in double-quick time to replacing lift parts.

Our engineers are now seen as part of the family at Thomson, and have even helped with a children’s party in the crèche – not a standard part of our service.
